Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures role requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2+ years of IR experience.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit with four procedural suites
Patient population includes oncology, dialysis, neurology, and pulmonary embolism cases
Uses Siemens imaging equipment and EPIC Radiant EMR
Days shift, 5x8, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Call requirements include one to two weekends per month and four to six weekdays per month
Float requirements as needed per facility policy

Requirements

Additional Information

Performs diagnostic and invasive procedures across various anatomy and pathology

Administers contrast materials and reviews medication reconciliation forms for contraindications prior to contrast administration
Monitors patients before, during, and after procedures, utilizing appropriate immobilization and transfer devices
Green surgical scrubs are provided daily and must remain on-site
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with no declinations accepted
Facility is a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and Level 2 Stroke Center
First-time travelers may be considered
Local candidates accepted, subject to a reduced bill rate within a 50-mile radius
Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, to be made up during the assignment
