Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. Start date 09/21/2026, 40 hours per week, 10-hour days. Requires current license and interventional experience.

Travel and housing accommodations offered by the agency. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional imaging, assisting physicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with diagnostic/interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response and maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
