Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a tertiary hospital's IR unit in Florence, SC. At least 1 year of general IR experience is required, with BLS and ARRT (R) certification and SCQRSA certification mandatory.

Responsibilities include 5x8-hour days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call rotation and weekend coverage. Non-local candidates are prioritized and travel housing benefits are offered.

• Support Interventional Radiology unit in a tertiary hospital.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a tertiary hospital's IR unit, requiring at least 1 year of general IR experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• SCQRSA certification required
• Neuro IR experience preferred
• General IR case experience required
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by the assigned agency
• South Carolina RN license required if applicable
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, infection control, and sterile technique
• Lead tech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit at a tertiary hospital
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Average daily caseload of 4 cases per technologist
• On-call rotation shared between three techs
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• No floating required outside of the unit
• Uses Epic charting system
• OR scrubs provided by facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration and is subject to facility approval
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
