Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Sacramento, California. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, with a 13-week travel assignment and a 4x10 hour shift pattern.

The ideal candidate has proven IR radiographer experience, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and other clinical systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence.
