Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas at Wesley Medical Center.

This travel position covers 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift with day and night call requirements. Must have IR tech experience, BLS, ARRT(R), and Kansas licensure.

The unit performs embolization, stroke interventions, trauma and diagnostic cerebral cases; expect outpatient and inpatient procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience.
• BLS and ARRT (R).
• Active KS licensure.

Responsibilities

• Embolization, y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work.
• Stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases.
• Average 10-12 procedures per day.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of rooms: 3- 2 philips biplanes, 1 GE single, MAC Lab documentation
• Number of Staff – 2 nurses, 4 RT’s
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift –Outpatient and inpatient procedures during hours of 700-530, call requirement through night.
  • Night Shift – Call required
• Average 10-12 procedures per day

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience
• BLS and ARRT (R)
• Active KS licensure

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Prior Stroke experience
• Traveling to large Trauma facilities
