Job Title

Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel)

Location & Duration

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – 13 weeks, 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts day). Travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures; report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures.
• Apply radiation protection standards and maintain safeguards for patients and operators.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pathology to interpret examination requests.
• Operate IV and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification required; state licensing as applicable.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Compensation
