Interventional Radiology Technologist (Travel)
Location & Duration
Milwaukee, Wisconsin – 13 weeks, 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts day). Travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.
- Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures; report abnormal activity.
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
- Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients during all procedures.
- Apply radiation protection standards and maintain safeguards for patients and operators.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pathology to interpret examination requests.
- Operate IV and dye injector pumps.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification required; state licensing as applicable.
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Compensation
Pay based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined). Job ID #1395900.
