Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in the Interventional Radiology suite at Mission Hospital.

Must have prior IR scrub and circulate experience, including neurointerventional cases, and hold a BLS certification. Vascular/Cath lab experience is a plus. Travel status provides housing options and competitive benefits.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips)
• Number of Staff – 15 techs currently plus manager and Data/Quality Analyst; nursing support for each room as well.
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room
  • Night Shift – 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
• Patient Ratios – 1:1
• Type of equipment – single plane = GE; biplane = Philips. Also have one Invasive CT scanner in the department.
• EMR – Cerner (Radnet)

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)

Preferred or nice to have

• Vascular OR experience
• Cath Lab experience
• VI Registered

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Dialysis work( Permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases
• Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties
