Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing essential procedures in the Interventional Radiology department while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, working five 8-hour shifts during the daytime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of special procedures and assist physicians in the execution of complex interventional radiology techniques.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for procedures, ensuring all equipment is functional and sterile.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures, providing appropriate care and support as needed.
• Assist in data collection and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
