Travel Vascular Interventional Technologist required for a 13‑week assignment in an acute care hospital setting.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: 05/11/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hrs per week (4 × 10‑hour day shifts)
- Shift: Days (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM)
- No call, weekends or holidays
Description
- Acute care hospital interventional radiology unit with one procedure suite
- Common cases: tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y‑90s, IVIS procedures
- Average of 7–8 cases per day
- Tech team: 1 scrub tech, 1 circulating tech, 1 control‑room tech per case
- Equipment: Philips FD 20, McKesson PACS, Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of IR experience
- Active BLS and ARRT® certification required; ARRT IR or RCIS IR certification accepted
- Valid driver’s license
- License required if applicable (must be active at time of consideration)
- 2 professional references (one supervisor within last 12 months, one peer or supervisor within last 3 years)
- Travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- On‑site: 1 Interventional Radiologist and 1–2 PAs; charge nurse present each shift
- Orientation: 3 days to 1 week of unit‑specific training
- Scrubs provided
- No blocked or special scheduling requests will be accepted
- Candidates must reside > 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Former permanent employees must have been separated ≥ 1 year before consideration
Pay & Assignment
Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
