Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technician

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technician to provide crucial support within the operating room for vascular interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in the entire case workflow, demonstrating strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures.


• Operate the table and controls during procedures.


• Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology.


• Engage actively in the procedure room, including filming and post-processing images.


• Utilize HI-IQ to document and manage inventory used during cases.


• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other procedural team members.


• Support simple surgical cases using a C-arm during downtime, including procedures such as Impellas and cystoscopy.

Schedule

This position may offer 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, with rotating call every 4th week.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required.


• Active Virginia license required; candidates may apply with licensure pending if they are eligible for a temporary license in another state.


• Strong experience in vascular interventional radiology and familiarity with hybrid operating room procedures is essential.


• The ability to engage actively in the case workflow, rather than just operating equipment, is vital.
