Qualifications

• Advanced specialty certification from an accrediting body when applicable, to be completed within 18 months of hire; equivalent clinical experience may apply for Cath Lab assignments.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Effective communication and human relations skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve problems.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved and accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure when applicable.
  • Advanced specialty certification from an accrediting body when applicable, to be completed within 18 months of hire; equivalent clinical experience may apply for Cath Lab assignments.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective communication and human relations skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
• Additional Information:
  • On-call coverage is required 12 nights per week and every third or fourth weekend, following department guidelines.
  • Responsibilities may include performing invasive or interventional procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals and approved medications, and maintaining equipment quality control.
  • The position requires adherence to radiation safety policies, standard precautions, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and professional practice standards.
  • The role may involve directing the activities of students and support staff.
  • Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching, patient assistance, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • COVID-related requirements apply, and religious exemptions are not permitted.
