Job Summary

Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician position based in a healthcare facility. The role involves supporting complex interventional radiology procedures within a high-level trauma center, working in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. The assignment is scheduled to start on October 5, 2026, and will last through January 4, 2027, providing an opportunity to contribute to advanced imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shift hours of 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R), Washington State License, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-Arm, biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty, and angiograms.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a Level II Trauma Center with a diverse team of specialists including Interventional Radiologists, Neuro Interventionalist, Vascular Surgeons, and Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners. Procedures performed include cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography, biopsies, venous access, gastrostomy, and various drains. Equipment used includes single plane IR rooms, biplane, hybrid, CT, and fluoroscopy. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays as needed and comply with facility policies regarding background checks and licensure.
