Job Responsibilities

Applies knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic images with use of professional knowledge to meet or exceed department guidelines.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional competence through participation in continuing education.
Takes a customer service approach in all interactions with internal and external customers.
Communicates clearly and concisely with all levels of individuals while complying with confidentiality requirements.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age related needs of the patients served in the assigned practice. These skills include: age appropriate communication skills, safety needs, patient teaching, and physical/functional growth and development.
Use imaging equipment, PACS and EPIC to process and retain images and exam related information.
Use radiation safety technique and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
