Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a skilled Special Procedures Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC, with strong interventional radiology and hybrid OR experience. You will perform advanced imaging, manage endovascular cases, and work across diverse settings to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has ARRT and BLS, with proficiency in Zeego, Pheno, and PACS, and can operate independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience with hybrid OR focus.
• Extensive endovascular procedure experience required.
• Over 1 year experience with Zeego and Pheno imaging systems.
• Proficient with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, Medrad.
• ARRT certification and current BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with PACS and Siemens portable C-arm functions (DS, road mapping, measurements).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures including FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs.
• Utilize Zeego and Pheno imaging equipment for high-quality diagnostics.
• Maintain safe, efficient work environment following hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Document and maintain patient records using EPIC.
• Manage vascular supplies and equipment ensuring availability for procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care while performing imaging studies in various settings.

We are seeking a skilled Special Procedures Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interventional radiology, with specific experience in Hybrid OR settings and extensive endovascular procedures. Candidates must thrive in high-acuity environments and demonstrate the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures including FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs.
• Utilize Zeego and Pheno imaging equipment to conduct high-quality diagnostic procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Document and maintain patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Manage vascular supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and readiness for procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care while performing imaging studies in a variety of settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with a focus on hybrid OR.
• Extensive experience in endovascular procedures is required.
• Must have more than 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno imaging equipment.
• Proficient in the use of technologies such as Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad.
• ARRT certification and current BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with PACS and Siemens portable C-arm functions (digital subtraction, road mapping, measurements, etc.) is essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.

Additional Information

• Shifts are scheduled based on unit needs, generally consisting of 4x10 hour shifts.
• Flexibility for on-call scheduling is required, with an average of 8 calls per month.
• Holiday call may be necessitated based on departmental requirements.
• Parking permits are available, with a registration fee for hang tags allowing parking in designated garages.
