Overview

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and related radiology duties as assigned.
• Prepare access sites, maintain sterile field, and assist the radiology team during procedures.
• Operate GE Innova IGS and related equipment; ensure equipment setup and maintenance.
• Assist with PACS, EPIC EMR, and image management; ensure proper documentation and imaging quality.
• Assist with various procedures including, but not limited to, aortography, embolization, biopsies, angiography, stent placement, catheter/drain exchanges, and other listed IR/vascular procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines; support rapid response/code teams when needed.
• Cover duties in X-ray when IR is not busy and participate in on-call shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years of interventional radiology/radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT R (Radiography), Kansas License (LRT).
• Licensure: Must have Kansas license.
• System experience: EPIC charting required; familiarity with PACS preferred.
• Shifts: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; Weekday on-call 1-2 nights/week at SLS; weekend call every 4-6 weekends at SLS/SLE.
• Trauma Level: Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and STEM-related equipment and procedures.
