Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Savannah, GA. The role requires independent decision-making, attention to patient safety, and strong communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

The candidate will support radiology procedures, maintain equipment and supplies, and assist radiologists to deliver clinical excellence. Travel/contract position with licensing reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, PACS, etc.).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
