Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Columbia, South Carolina assignment. The role requires experience in interventional radiography, strong patient safety awareness, and excellent communication with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS and related systems.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
