Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will have proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Interventional Radiography experience required.
• Independent decision-making required.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate well to residents, families, and coworkers.
• Must meet local health regulations and pass post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, PACS, portals).
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure specifications are met.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists during exams to deliver clinical excellence.
