Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, MO. The role requires expertise in interventional radiography, strong attention to patient safety, and the ability to work with staff and physicians in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers per-diem pay, health insurance coverage, 401k matching, licensing reimbursement, and staffing support across all states.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed in job description.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining supplies required for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams and provide clinical excellence.
