Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. You will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and assist with sterile procedures in a fast-paced IR lab.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and one year of IR tech experience. Preferred ACLS and AR license may be required; travel pays competitively with benefits and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Current ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ACLS certification (AHA/ARC), Radiologic Technologist license, PALS or ENPC certification, or other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures
• Manage and restock procedural supplies, including catheters, guidewires, and contrast agents
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
• Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
