Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of IR tech experience. Nights, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week with travel benefits are offered.

The IR Tech will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, maintain imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist is required.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
