Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Traverse City, MI. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopy, assist physicians, and monitor patients throughout image-guided procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and any required state licensing; vascular interventional cert preferred. Shift is days, 8 hours, 40 hours/week, travel role with stipend discussions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification
• State licensing as required; vascular interventional cert preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in interventional procedures
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures
• Report abnormal activity during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use PACS system to review imaging requests and results
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic/interventional procedures
• Monitor patients during all procedures
