Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer in Baltimore, MD, to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. The role requires adaptive problem-solving, strict patient safety, and effective communication with the care team.

The candidate should have proven IR experience, be able to make independent decisions, and maintain high attendance while complying with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making and strong patient safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and pass post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Develop skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, PACS, Kronos, etc.).
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Maintain supplies required for patient care.
• Ensure exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams to ensure clinical excellence.
