Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin, delivering high-quality care in a busy IR/Vascular setting. The role features 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration with on-site duties.

The Vascular Technologist will prepare procedure suites, calibrate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and maintain radiation safety protocols in a 7-suite department with

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in interventional radiology.
Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certifications.
Experience with EMR systems Merge or Cerner preferred.
Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare procedure suites and establish radiation safety setups.
Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Pull necessary supplies and set up sterile tables for procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures, including device exchanges and guidewire manipulation.
Handle catheter placements, balloon and stent deployments, and manage radiation dose and imaging angles.
Perform cleaning, restocking, and room turnover duties.
Execute sheath removals post-procedure.
