MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois. The position requires support in the IR department, performing imaging procedures and assisting physicians per orders.

Start Date: 10/12/2026. Travel assignment with housing or housing allowance, weekly pay, credentialing coverage, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro Experience.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications and orders.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately and legibly.
