Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety throughout image-guided procedures.

Required are 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification with state licensing as needed; vascular interventional cert preferred. This travel role offers a 40-hour work week with 10-hour shifts in a dynamic clinical

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) National Certification and state licensing where required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormalities.
• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients; provide reassurance.
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures and maintain records.
