American Traveler is seeking an IR Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment in Stockton, CA. Requires 2+ years IR/Cath Lab experience, ARRT, fluoroscopy permit, and active state license. 12-hour shifts, with on-call and EOW rotations; travel housing and licensure reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IR/Cath Lab experience required.
• Active ARRT certification and fluoroscopy permit required.
• Current BLS required.
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted.
• Comfortable working with critically ill patients.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2 professional references: one supervisor in last 12 months and one peer in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in an IR/Cath Lab unit with 4 procedure rooms.
• STEMI receiving center with 15-20 cases per day on average.
• Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures including STEMIs, IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, AngioJet, laser and rotablator.
• Care for critically ill patients with on-site cardiology and respiratory therapy support.
• Charting in Cerner; hemodynamic monitoring via Merge Hemo; familiarity with imaging equipment.
• 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend; on-call 1 weeknight and 1 weekend EOW with 30-minute response.
• Onboarding modules must be completed before arrival; Teal blue scrubs provided.
• Candidates must not have been employed by any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity Health facility within past year.
