Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. The role supports physicians with image-guided procedures and operates fluoroscopic equipment in an acute care IR setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of acute care IR experience, ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, and familiarity with McKesson PACS. This travel position offers day shifts, 40 hours per week, and potential call.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care IR experience
• ARRT (VI) or Vascular Interventional certification (preferred)
• CCI certification (preferred)
• 2+ years of IR experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment.
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Verify patient identification and review imaging orders for accuracy.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support.
• Scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional IR procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and report abnormalities.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation in McKesson PACS and patient records.
