Job summary

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Abilene, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring strong imaging skills, patient preparation, and team collaboration to support procedures across X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, documenting procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and adhering to HIPAA and safety standards. Start date: 11/02/2026.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• IR certification (ARRT(IR)) preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation: Verify patient identity and procedure, prepare patients, assess medical history, position patients.
• Imaging and Procedure Assistance: Operate imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) during procedures, adjust settings, assist in sterile setup, document details.
• Equipment Maintenance and Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, maintain equipment, ensure supplies, troubleshoot issues.
• Clinical Support: Assist in post-procedure care, administer contrast as directed, monitor vitals, collaborate with team.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure radiation safety, follow policies, maintain records, protect patient confidentiality.
• Continual Learning: Stay current with techniques and technologies, participate in training.
