Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Marquette, Michigan. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists and staff. The role requires independent decision-making and strong communication; licensing reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements for clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in relevant clinical systems (RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
