Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Newton Lower Falls, MA. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, with a 13-week contract and 4x10 hour shifts.

Ideal candidates have proven IR radiography experience, strong patient-safety focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems listed above related to modalities.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
