Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role requires active involvement in the entire case workflow and is vital to the success of vascular procedures in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and schedule cases in EPIC prior to procedures.
• Operate the table and controls during procedures.
• Perform 3D spins and utilize fusion technology effectively.
• Engage actively in the room during procedures, including filming and post-processing images.
• Document and track inventory used during cases using HI-IQ.
• Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other members of the procedural team.
• Support simple surgical cases with a C-arm in downtime, including procedures like Impellas and cystos (AP fluoro for kidneys and bladder).

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Valid Virginia state license is required; candidates may apply with a pending license but must hold licensure in another state to qualify for a temporary license.
• Strong experience in vascular and interventional radiology is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures is important.

Schedule

This position operates on a day shift schedule, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and requires participation in rotating on-call every fourth week.
