Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Johnstown, PA. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and support interventional procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, 1 year IR tech experience, and current state licensure where applicable. Travel benefits and clinical team support are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification as per state requirements.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring comfort.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and maintaining sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Practice radiation safety for patient, staff, and self.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure readiness.
• Restock supplies such as catheters and contrast agents.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses for patient care.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
