Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Baltimore assignment. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist physicians during image-guided procedures, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

This 13-week travel role offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires 1 year acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R) and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification and state licensing as required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and safe practice.
• Operate intravenous dye injector pumps and maintain accurate patient records.
