Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fargo, ND. The IR tech will support physicians in minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Preferred certifications may include ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and state licensure. Travel benefits and performance incentives accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES certification as per state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures.
Assist physicians by scrubbing in, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and supplies.
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support procedures.
