MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging, assisting IR physicians, and maintaining sterile technique in the IR department.

Requirements include a current license, appropriate certifications, and 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience; travel pay offers weekly pay and housing options.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the IR department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images according to physician specifications and orders.
• Assist physicians with various procedures, monitor patient response, maintain sterile field, and interpret data for physician use.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a patient-focused environment.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
