Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Traverse City, Michigan. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology interventions, with 40 hours per week and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills required.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Meet local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance documents.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at exam time.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
