Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Salinas, California. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, with a 13-week contract and 40 hours per week on days.

The candidate should have proven IR radiography experience, independent decision-making, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems related to modalities.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
