Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This travel role offers 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts, starting 07/27/2026.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, assisting during procedures, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring radiation safety. Travel-friendly benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of recent IR tech experience.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification as per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and passing instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast and watch for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety measures for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses for patient care.
