Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role focuses on assisting IR team with imaging procedures and patient care.

The position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, travel-friendly duties, and the opportunity to work with leading healthcare facilities through our Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist physicians with various diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
