Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel contract in Winfield, Illinois, near Chicago. This hospital-based role supports interventional, cardiac, and vascular procedures with a focus on safe, patient-centered care.

The position offers four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours), rotating call coverage, and an orientation of 40 hours. Required: ARRT Radiography, IEMA licensure, BLS, ACLS, and experience in interventional labs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of direct experience in interventional radiology or related area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for interventional radiology and related procedures.
• Assist with cardiac catheterization, angiography, angioplasty, stent placement and PCI/PTCA.
• Support biopsies, venous access, dialysis catheter procedures, and other interventions.
• Operate C-arms and ultrasound equipment, maintain sterile field.
• Document procedures in Epic and support PACS workflow.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient safety standards.
