HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Tech for an Interventional Radiology travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start 11/16/2026 with four 10-hour shifts and on-call duties in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $3,084 to $3,232 and the assignment lasts 11 weeks.

The role requires ARRT Radiography, NY licensure, AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, BLS, and 1 year IR experience (2 preferred). Local travel within 75 miles may qualify for local rate.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• New York license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification (Radiography).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in on-call rotations.
• Travel assignment eligibility within a 75-mile radius; locals may receive local rate.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging for interventional radiology procedures using EPIC, PACS, and Siemens Artis-Q equipment.
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare patients, administer contrast materials as ordered, monitor for adverse reactions, and document findings per protocol.
• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy and related imaging systems; uphold ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures in EPIC and manage imaging data in PACS; ensure correct labeling and archiving of studies.
• Collaborate with technologists and nursing staff; participate in on-call rotations and cross-coverage as needed.
• Potential to assist in OR/ENDO procedures requiring C-Arm during interventional cases.
