Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The role requires a current license and interventional experience, with duties including image guidance, procedure support, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Current license in good standing.
Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department as part of the IR team.
Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
Operate radiology equipment to obtain images per physician orders.
Assist physicians during procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain patient-focused service.
