Job summary

FutureSoft Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a travel assignment in Chico, California. The RN will support image-guided procedures, sedation, and comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of IR nursing experience, active California RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Epic EMR proficiency. EPIC experience is required for documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience.
• Active California RN license and current CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience with procedural/moderate sedation and Epic EMR.
• Strong assessment, monitoring and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care.
• Experience in image-guided procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and verify orders.
• Administer medications and procedural sedation per protocol.
• Monitor vitals, respiration, and patient comfort during procedures.
• Educate patients and families and ensure proper post-procedure recovery.
