TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Chico, California. The Radiology RN will work in a diagnostic environment, providing care for patients under physician instruction and a diverse care team.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, and are prepared to perform IV starts, medication administration, and specialized nursing duties during procedures. 40-hour weeks, 10-hour shifts, travel status.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• RN in Radiology with diagnostic care experience.

Responsabilités

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

We're looking for Radiology RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Chico, CA. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. As a Radiology RN, you should have experience and skill in caring for patients in a diagnostic environment. Radiology Travel Nurses will work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate and implement diagnostic care using correct procedures and physician instructions.

As a Radiology Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.


• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.


• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.


• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

Radiology Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Radiology RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
