Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Wellington, Florida. This 13-week role offers 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts in Interventional Radiology. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.

Travel pay packages include weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits program. TotalMed RN provides assignment support, housing options, and dedicated service throughout the travel nurse

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert Foley catheters, and assist with personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Administer IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
• Maintain mobility requirements and safety considerations for Radiology Travel Nurses.

We're looking for Radiology RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Wellington, FL. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
• Radiology Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Radiology RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Requirements

BLS, ACLS, NIH, 2 Years* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
