Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California.

The RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and be available for a 13-week travel assignment in sunny San Francisco. The position is 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts, with tax-free stipend details subject to confirmation.

• RN license in good standing preferred for IR travel nursing.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access infusaports, administer medications, monitor vitals, suction patients, insert foleys, assist patients with personal needs.
• Inform technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Administer IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

We're looking for Radiology RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in San Francisco, CA. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and help patients with their personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

Radiology Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Radiology RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
