Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Required Skills and Experience

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Responsible for quality care of patients in the Imaging Department
• Provides direct patient care and monitors patient's condition
• Observes and records patient's vital signs
• Maintains intravenous lines
• Administers first aid and medications under physician direction
• Assists in various procedures in Imaging department
• Maintains IV skills and emergency equipment
• Knowledgeable about emergency equipment and drug inventory
• Acts as a liaison between Imaging department and patient care division
• Responsible for documentation of patient's records

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with invasive and non-invasive procedures in IR suite/Ultrasound/CT/MRI/Diagnostic
• Critical care nursing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure

Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required

Additional Requirements

• Flu Vaccination or Mercy Approved Exemption required from November 1-April 1
• On-call rotation required
