Requires active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months IR experience. 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours/week and 8-hour shifts. Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• 18 months of recent Interventional Radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
