Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The IR nurse will provide specialized care before, during, and after minimally invasive procedures, collaborating with radiology and technologist teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires one year of IR RN experience, an active Oregon RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications include PALS/ENPC, ACLS, RCIS/RCES.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Active BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, RCIS/RCES.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments reviewing medical history and labs.
• Educate patients and families about IR procedures and post-care.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation as required.
• Monitor hemodynamics and oxygenation during procedures.
• Assist physicians with proper positioning, sterile technique, and instruments.
• Document procedures and medications accurately.
